Crystal Murphy and the Music Notes is a children's music band that not only entertains but also educates through music and movement. They perform everything from classic kid songs to energetic originals that will even have the parents up, dancing, & singing. They are currently recording their 1st album in the studio at BoDoc Records. The dream is to continue to create, collaborate, and share with the community!
Crystal started her musical adventure on percussion and backup vocals in 2012 with the band Street Greek in Phoenixville, PA. In more recent years she has shared the stage and recording studio with bands such as Four String Frenzy, Anna Spackman, and Michael Di Salvo Band. She also formed the D’town Ukesters, a local jam group comprised of her ukulele graduates.
In 2023, Crystal started Crystal Murphy and the Music Notes to use her experience as a performer, musician, singer, and teacher to bring joy and connection to children. Her favorite experience has been adding the Music Notes, a group of friends and musicians that Crystal has played with in various bands.
