It’s Crafty with Cassidy time! HOORAY!

Cassidy will be presenting a DIY ladybug maraca craft that the whole family can make together. We will be using our maracas throughout the month of April in all classes (see “Calendar”) to learn rhythm, counting, and dynamics in music (loud and quiet).

Supplies needed for 2 ladybug maracas

1. 2 plastic eggs (Ladybugs come in all different colors! Be creative!)

2. 4 plastic spoons (we ended up using 6)

3. 2 medium sized pom poms

4. 4 Googly eyes

5. 2 pipe cleaners

6. Black permanent marker

7. Liquid glue

8. Filling material - rice, sand, beans, beads, rocks, etc.

9. **Optional - Hot glue gun, paper clip, puffy paint, washi tape
