It’s Crafty with Cassidy time! HOORAY!

Cassidy will be presenting a DIY space drum craft that the whole family can make together. We will be using our drums throughout the month of May in all classes (see “Calendar”) to learn rhythm, counting, and dynamics in music (loud and quiet).

Supplies needed for 1 space drum

1. 1 empty, clean container with lid

2. fabric or paper to cover the outside

3. adhesive - spray glue, low temp glue gun, double-sided tape, etc.

4. space-themed stickers

5. rubber bands

6. 2 sticks or dowel rods

7. (optional) 2 beads with holes large enough to fit to fit the sticks into

8. (optional) paint
