How to make a Butterfly Kazoo!

HOW TO MAKE A BUTTERFLY KAZOO!!

STEP 1. GATHER YOUR MARKING TOOL, COLORED PAPER, AND CARDBOARD ROLL
STEP 2. PLACE CARDBOARD ROLL ALONG EDGE OF COLORED PAPER. MEASURE THE ROLL BY MAKING A SMALL MARK WHERE THE OTHER EDGE OF THE ROLL ENDS ON THE COLORED PAPER.
STEP 3. FOLD COLORED PAPER AT MARK AND MAKE A CREASE LENGTHWISE
STEP 4. CUT ALONG THE FOLD.
STEP 5. PLACE A GENEROUS AMOUNT OF GLUE ALL OVER THE CARDBOARD ROLL.
STEP 6. COVER THE CARDBOARD ROLL WITH THE COLORED PAPER THAT YOU CUT UNTIL THE EDGES OVERLAP. cut off the excess colored paper and glue the edge down.
step 7. place wax paper over the end of the roll and secure with a rubber band. trim off the excess wax paper.
step 8. trace the butterfly wing template onto colored paper. cut out wings.
step 9. glue wings onto the cardboard roll on top of seam overlap.
step 10. (optional) place paper clip at the opening of the roll where the seam overlap lies to secure it until the glue dries.
step 11. using a hole punch, make 2 holes on either side of the roll.
step 12. using ribbon, string, or yarn, thread it through the holes leaving enough length to create a necklace. decorate!
